In the “Can’t Stop It” movie, Paul Donaldson (the drummer) writes this song about the troubling relationship he has with Shinelle Gastrangler. Both appear in “Can’t Stop It” the movie. Jimmy Rogers, a main character is in a battle to break from his Father’s belief “Life is a cruel joke barely worth living”. Red has felt this way ever since, as a teenager, he was blamed for the death of this own Father.
